Lung Cancer Europe

Conference Warsaw | 14 and 15 April 2027

The Lung Cancer Europe 2027 Conference will bring member organisations together at The Westin in Warsaw for two days of learning, connection, and shared priorities. Designed for Lung Cancer Europe members, the conference focuses on practical exchange, collaboration, and strengthening lung cancer advocacy across Europe.

After Vienna, one thing was clear: we come away from these gatherings with more than we bring to them. So when we started thinking about where to meet next, Warsaw felt the right choice for 2027.

So much of our work happens online now. It works, and it has opened doors. But there is still something different about sitting down together, taking time to talk things through properly, and learning from each other's experiences.

This conference is first and foremost for our member organisations. It's a chance to step back, share what's working and what isn't, and spend time on the issues that really matter to us as a community.

Poland has a strong and growing community of advocates, and it feels like the right place to continue what we started in Vienna. I'm really looking forward to welcoming you there.

What to expect…

Vienna 2026 brought together advocates, health professionals, researchers and organisations from across Europe. Here's a glimpse of what happened.

For member organisations

A space designed first and foremost for Lung Cancer Europe member organisations to connect, reflect and work through shared priorities.

Learning and exchange

Practical sessions and discussions focused on what’s working, what isn’t, and how we strengthen lung cancer advocacy across Europe.

Time together

Opportunities to step out of day-to-day delivery, spend time together in person, and build trust and confidence as a community.

Programme overview

The conference programme is being developed in close conversation with our member organisations and partners.

Across the two days in Warsaw, sessions will focus on shared priorities in lung cancer advocacy, practical learning, and honest exchange about what’s working, what isn’t, and where support is most needed across Europe.

The programme will include a mix of structured sessions, smaller group discussions, and time built in for reflection and informal conversation. Space matters as much as content - for asking difficult questions, learning from each other’s experiences, and building confidence in the work happening at national and European level.

Speakers and session details will be confirmed in stages and published as the programme takes shape.

Meeting in person

Bringing people together in the same room creates space for member organisations to step away from day-to-day delivery and focus on shared challenges in lung cancer advocacy across Europe. The conversations and relationships built here support collaboration long after the conference ends.
