Airport Trains

Vienna International Airport is excellently connected to the city centre and the Hilton Vienna Plaza:

City Airport Train (CAT)

The fastest option at just 16 minutes to Wien Mitte station, then take the U4 to Schottentor (2 stops). Total journey time approximately 30 minutes.

Airport Rail Link (S7)

Direct S-Bahn service to Wien Mitte (25 minutes), then U4 to Schottentor. More economical than CAT with similar journey time.

U-Bahn, trams & buses

Vienna's extensive public transport network includes U-Bahn (underground), trams, and buses.

Purchase a Vienna Travel Card for unlimited travel during your stay, available for 24, 48, or 72 hours. The nearest station to the venue is Schottentor (U2 line), providing direct access to major areas of the city.

Airport Bus

Vienna Airport Lines bus service operates directly to Schottentor/Universität, just minutes from the venue.

Taxis

Available 24/7 at the airport, taking approximately 25-35 minutes to reach the Hilton Vienna Plaza.

  • April in Vienna brings mild spring weather with average temperatures ranging from 10-18°C (50-64°F). You can expect pleasant conditions with occasional rain showers. We recommend bringing light layers and a waterproof jacket for venturing outside.

  • EU/EEA citizens need only a valid passport or national ID card. Visitors from many countries including the UK, US, Canada, and Australia can enter Austria visa-free for up to 90 days.
