When we started talking about bringing everyone together in Vienna, what kept coming up was how much we gain from being in the same room.

So much of our work happens online now. It works, and it has opened doors. But there is still something different about sitting down together, taking time to talk things through properly, and learning from each other’s experiences.

This conference is first and foremost for our member organisations. It’s a chance to step back, share what’s working and what isn’t, and spend time on the issues that really matter to us as a community.

I’m really looking forward to welcoming you to Vienna and to the conversations we’ll have there.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Programme overview

The conference programme is being developed in close conversation with our member organisations and partners.

Across the three days in Vienna, sessions will focus on shared priorities in lung cancer advocacy, practical learning, and honest exchange about what’s working, what isn’t, and where support is most needed across Europe.

The programme will include a mix of structured sessions, smaller group discussions, and time built in for reflection and informal conversation. Space matters as much as content - for asking difficult questions, learning from each other’s experiences, and building confidence in the work happening at national and European level.

Speakers and session details will be confirmed in stages and published as the programme takes shape.

Meeting in person

Bringing people together in the same room creates space for member organisations to step away from day-to-day delivery and focus on shared challenges in lung cancer advocacy across Europe. The conversations and relationships built here support collaboration long after the conference ends.
