1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to attendance at the Lung Cancer Europe Conference 2026 (“the Conference”).

By registering for the Conference, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and attendance

• The Conference is organised primarily for Lung Cancer Europe member organisations.

• Attendance is by registration only and subject to eligibility, invitation status, and capacity checks.

• Registration does not guarantee a place until confirmation is issued by Lung Cancer Europe.

Member organisations

• Each Lung Cancer Europe member organisation may register up to two representatives, unless otherwise agreed.

Pharmaceutical company representatives

• Representatives from pharmaceutical companies attend by invitation only.

• Invitations are issued directly by Lung Cancer Europe.

• If you have not received an invitation and would like to check your eligibility, please contact events@lungcancereurope.eu before registering.

Speakers and special guests

• Speakers and special guests attend by invitation.

Lung Cancer Europe reserves the right to decline or cancel registrations where eligibility criteria are not met or where registration has been made without an appropriate invitation.

3. Registration details

• All registration information must be accurate and complete.

• Where possible, registrants should use an organisational email address rather than a personal email account.

• A mobile phone number is required for essential conference-related communication.

4. Accommodation and funded support

• Accommodation is provided as part of the Conference for approved attendees.

• During registration, attendees must specify which nights accommodation is required.

• Accommodation arrangements are non-transferable and subject to confirmation.

Where Lung Cancer Europe is covering accommodation costs, attendees are expected to:

• attend the Conference venue for a reasonable portion of each day

• notify the organisers promptly of any changes or cancellations

Failure to attend without notice may affect eligibility for future funded support.

5. Travel

• Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Attendees should wait for registration and accommodation confirmation before booking flights or other travel.

• Travel reimbursement or support (where applicable) will be communicated separately and may be subject to conditions.

6. Programme changes

• The Conference programme is subject to change.

• Lung Cancer Europe reserves the right to amend the programme, session formats, speakers, or timings where necessary.

• Changes do not entitle attendees to compensation.

7. Code of conduct

All attendees are expected to:

• act respectfully and professionally

• engage constructively in discussions

• respect confidentiality where indicated

Lung Cancer Europe reserves the right to remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, or contrary to the purpose of the Conference.

8. Photography and recording

• Photographs and recordings may be taken during the Conference.

• These may be used for reporting, communications, and future promotional purposes.

• If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, please inform the organisers in advance.

9. Accessibility and special requirements

• Attendees may share accessibility, dietary, or other requirements during registration.

• Lung Cancer Europe will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these needs, but cannot guarantee all requests can be met.

10. Liability

• Attendance at the Conference is at your own risk.

• Lung Cancer Europe is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury, except where required by law.

11. Data protection

Personal data provided during registration and attendance is handled in accordance with the Conference Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
