The Programme
Conference Vienna 2026
The programme below sets out the structure of the Lung Cancer Europe Conference, taking place in Vienna from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 April 2026.
It also includes invitation-only pre-conference meetings on Tuesday 21 April, held ahead of the main conference.
The Lung Cancer Europe Conference 2026 brings together member organisations from across Europe to share experience, reflect on progress, and strengthen a collective European voice on lung cancer. The conference also connects with Lung Cancer Europe’s broader advocacy and awareness work across Europe, including the Get Checked campaign, which focuses on earlier diagnosis, support after diagnosis, and addressing inequalities in lung cancer care.
This is Lung Cancer Europe's first annual conference, developed as a working conference for member organisations with a clear focus on shared learning, open discussion, and practical exchange.

Arrival and Advisory Boards
Tuesday is the arrival day for many participants. It offers time to travel, settle in, and get oriented before the conference begins.

For those involved, the afternoon includes invitation-only advisory board meetings on ALK-positive lung cancer, EGFR-positive lung cancer, and small cell lung cancer, bringing together people with lived experience for focused, facilitated discussion. These sessions are separate from the main conference programme.
For others, the day provides space to explore Vienna, connect informally with colleagues, and ease into the conference ahead of the busier days that follow.
The day concludes with an informal dinner for those arriving early.
